In 2005, Rouxbe set out with a bold mission: harness the power of digital media to deliver the highest quality cooking education to every person on the planet. The goal was simple but transformative — get people back in the kitchen, cooking healthier whole foods with real confidence.

Over the first eight years, Rouxbe built something the world had never seen: a complete professional cooking curriculum captured in bite-sized, close-up, HD videos streamable on any device, anywhere.

By 2008, Rouxbe launched the world's first online cooking school — one that has since taught over 1 million home cooks and culinary professionals across 180 countries.

The momentum didn't stop there. In 2012, Rouxbe broke new ground again, becoming the first education company in the world to offer Professional Cook and Plant-Based certification courses — earning global recognition from both the American Chef Federation (ACF) and the World Association of Chefs (WACs).

By 2014, an enterprise-grade training platform was live and scaling fast, now powering culinary training at over 2,300 hotels and food service organizations worldwide, across five languages.

In 2015, a dedicated Culinary Wellness division brought cooking education to tens of thousands of people focused on living and eating better.
